At Wynne & Co, people come first – both yours and ours.
We’re a friendly, female-led team that listens before we talk, explains things in plain English, and looks after each other so we can look after you.
Different ideas, backgrounds and challenges are welcomed. No judgement, no raised eyebrows. Just calm, capable support from people who care.
A team you want to work with
We work hard to take care of our team and are all about developing our people.
We train chartered accountants in-house (unusual for a firm our size) and invest in apprenticeships. That means you get a team that’s learning, sharing and improving all the time – bringing fresh thinking to your business as well as reliable day-to-day work.
Sarah Wynne FMAAT FCA BFP
Managing Director
When I founded Wynne & Co in January 2013 I knew I wanted to create a workplace where clients and the team were very well looked after.
My son Jamie was one, and I was very aware of the challenges of balancing life and work. I wanted to be a hands-on mum as well as fulfilled in my career. My aim was to create a business with health, wellbeing and happiness at its heart, this has gained further momentum after a life changing CKD diagnosis in 2019, an ADHD diagnosis this in 2024 and a dyslexia diagnosis in 2025.
My passion to develop a fully equitable firm (the equality definition not the financial one).
As a director at Wynne & Co my focus is on liaising with clients, providing them with advice and support, and managing and overseeing our team’s work, providing the team support as needed. I have a strong focus on establishing each client’s needs and making sure we deliver on those.
I joined Wynne & Co in 2014 as a newly qualified accountant because I wanted to progress my career whilst also being a single parent to my daughter Phoebe who has ASD. I loved Sarah’s ethos and her ideas for the practice she wanted to grow and was keen to be a part of that. I felt she would help me to achieve more while having the right balance at home which is exactly what happened.
I was an ACCA member when I joined Wynne & Co, then I progressed to FCCA status after 10 years membership. I also achieved the ACA qualification in 2021 with the ICAEW, which enabled me to become a Wynne & Co partner and director.
Sarah Mann
QBE Accountant
I joined Wynne & Co in 2016, the day after I graduated from university. I started off doing admin and was supposed to develop into the role of a practice manager, but my affinity for accounts took over and we decided I was better suited for being an accountant. I’m now doing my ACA chartered accountancy course, and my current role job involves preparing accounts, and tax returns, setting up clients’ accountancy software and overseeing our junior accountants.
I love working at Wynne & Co because of the atmosphere. Everyone’s here for everyone else and everyone’s able to be their own person – so I’ve been encouraged to do what I want and train as an accountant. It’s a friendly, supportive atmosphere and we all work to our own strengths.
My motto for life is to do what you want to do, not what other people think you should do – that’s what brought me to accounting and I’m so happy to be here.
Steffan Evans
AAT Accountant
I joined Wynne & Co after I’d started studying accountancy in college. I was looking for an apprenticeship and heard that Wynne & Co were hiring so I went for it. It was just the sort of job I was looking for – the whole team are easy to talk to and if I need help, all I have to do is ask. We love getting to know our clients and we always do our very best for them, ensuring that everything runs smoothly. I’m very pleased to be building my career here.
My job involves bookkeeping, drafting VAT returns and tax returns for senior staff to review, and drafting year-end accounts. I’ve completed my AAT qualification and now planning to continue my studies and work towards my ACA qualification.
I grew up on a dairy farm so in my spare time I go there and help out. Big believer in working hard but trying to enjoy yourself as much as possible too.
Josh Farnell
Semi-Senior Accountant
My job involves bookkeeping, drafting VAT returns and tax returns for senior staff to review, and drafting year-end accounts. I’ve completed the AAT level 2 foundation certificate, and I’m now working towards my ACA qualification.
I joined Wynne and co in July 2021 straight from school. One of the main attractions was the support that they provide. I’m able to earn a qualification while working, and if I ever get stuck on something – whether it’s for work or for my studies – every member of staff is there to offer their support to help me reach my targets. It’s extremely refreshing to work in an environment where we all get along and are eager to help each other.
Another thing that makes Wynne and Co special is the care we have for each and every one of our clients, and our willingness to go above and beyond for them.
In my spare time I enjoy playing rugby and socialising with friends.
Leigh-Ann Fleur
Senior Administrator
My job involves managing incoming calls and emails, directing them to the appropriate team member, and overseeing record-keeping. Additionally, I liaise with clients and provide administrative support to the team. I have always been drawn to administrative roles because I enjoy meeting and greeting people and going out of my way to help others where possible.
The team here feels like a family, and everyone supports each other in every possible way. I genuinely enjoy coming to work every day. We have lovely clients, and I find great joy in helping them as much as I can.
Outside of work, spending time with my family and making memories is important to me. I have recently rediscovered my love for running, and I enjoy experiencing the beautiful Welsh countryside. My motto for life is to always make time for the little things that make you happy!
Emma Dean
Payroll Administrator
I’ve been with Wynne & Co since 2020 – I was looking for a new challenge and I spotted the job on the Wynne & Co website and went for it. I’ve always liked working with numbers, so it was perfect for me.
My favourite thing about working at Wynne & Co is the supportive environment – and I love that everybody brings their dogs to work. If you’re feeling stressed all you have to do is grab a dog and you instantly feel better!
In my spare time I love taking on sponsored challenges, such as a 26-mile trek across the Brecon Beacons or walking 100k over four days. The experiences can be painful, but I really enjoy the excitement of each challenge. My motto is to always have a good work/life balance – it means you get the most out of both.
Kaya Bourton
Personal Assistant & Admin Manager
My job involves managing & training the admin team, liaising with clients, billing, filing accounts and providing administrative support to the team. I also assist Sarah Wynne as her Personal Assistant, ensuring her schedule runs smoothly and efficiently.
I started at Wynne & Co in October 2022, and it was honestly the best decision I’ve ever made career-wise. What I love most about working here is the team – I’ve never felt so accepted and supported in a workplace. I’ve been given an amazing opportunity to work closely with Sarah in a PA role, which has allowed me to utilise my strengths.
Outside of work, I’m big on gaming, but nothing beats a walk among the trees or along the beach to clear my mind and recharge. I don’t have a motto, but staying true to myself and my values is what matters most to me.
Ethan Douglas Law
Accounts Junior
I joined Wynne & Co after completing my A Levels and am working towards my AAT qualification currently at level 2.
My role consists of helping to get VAT and TAX returns drafted, as well as year end accounts. Everyone here is incredibly friendly and supportive, always willing to help when I’m learning something new.
Outside of work, I enjoy playing football and spending time with friends and family.
Molly Thomas
Receptionist
My day-to-day job involves supporting new clients, answering calls, and making sure important information gets to the right people.
I joined Wynne & Co in September 2024 and was intrigued to find a role that would keep me busy and challenged. No two days here are the same, and I enjoy being part of a team that’s both hardworking and friendly.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me walking my dogs, reading a book, or spending quality time with family and friends.
Magdalena Cicholc
Junior Administrator
I joined Wynne & Co in 2025 looking for a place I could be myself – and found it. From day one I’ve felt welcomed, supported and encouraged to grow. Huge thanks to Sarah and Catrin for creating such a positive, inclusive team.
What I love most is the culture: no need to pretend, just do good work with people who’ve got your back. The work is varied, the days fly by, and there are plenty of laughs along the way.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my partner and my little brother – whether it’s going on adventures or on long walks. Being around my loved ones always lifts me up. If I have a motto, it’s probably “you only live once”… usually said right before something a bit daft.
Richard Watkins
Bookkeeper
I’ve been bookkeeping for four years, originally self-taught while I took time out as a stay-at-home dad, and I’m grateful to Sarah and Catrin for the chance to learn alongside a team of qualified accountants and keep developing my career. I keep the day-to-day records clean so the accounts add up – reconciling transactions, preparing personal tax returns, and helping make sure limited company accounts are accurate and up to date.
Before that, I spent over 20 years in retail management—very different work, but full of transferable skills: attention to detail, clear communication and keeping things running smoothly.
Wise words I live by from the late and very great Viv Savage: Have a good time, all the time.
