Wynne & Co have been our accountants since 2015. In that time, we’ve grown as a company. We became a limited company in March 2023 and Wynne & Co were instrumental in helping us gain funding so that we could buy more machinery and take on much bigger contracts. They helped us secure funding via the Development Bank of Wales.
Wynne & Co do our management accounts and forecasts as and when needed. They knew what we needed before we went to the bank, so it streamlined the process. I really value the huge amount of advice that they give – for example, advice on where to get funding, and invaluable advice during the last 10 years when things haven’t gone so well, looking at where we need to improve or what we need to do to bounce back. They have a wealth of knowledge.
They have helped us to streamline the business, identifying the most profitable areas of the business so we can seek more work down those avenues and analysing what makes money and what doesn’t matter so we can work to get more of what does.
Wynne & Co are set apart by their willingness to be helpful and the fact they want to see people succeed, so they go above what you’d expect. With regards to tax planning and making sure we are hitting our targets and making sure we know where we’re going as a business, we get regular updates, regular management accounts, and advice on when we need to spend money or cut back. That is something you don’t get with a lot of high street accountancy firms. We very much appreciate that personal touch.
